Why Clearlight?

Clearlight are a market leader with over 18 years of experience in infrared sauna technology and an uncompromising approach to research, innovation, quality and style. Their seventh generation, patented organic, carbon and ceramic panel heaters produce the highest quality FAR infrared (vital) rays available and are the only carbon based heater with virtually no electromagnetic field (EMF). The Dome itself is constructed from untreated organic hemp cloth and is, of course, non toxic.

The Technology

Remember the last time you lay sunbathing - smothered in sunscreen? You still felt lovely and warm, didn't you? That feeling of natural warmth was thanks to the FAR infrared rays penetrating your skin and not the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays being blocked by the sunscreen. Unlike UV, FAR infrared is healthy and safe (even essential) for all living things. It is so safe, gently soothing and comfortable, that it is used in hospitals to warm newborn babies.

Conventional hot rock/steam saunas heat the air around you and pull sweat out of the body. This can become unbearably hot and people often struggle to breathe. In a FAR infrared sauna, the FAR infrared penetrates up to three inches into the body's tissue, heating you directly from the inside and pushing the sweat and toxins out. This means you can be exposed to FAR infrared heat for hours and it will never cause your skin to burn. With the Clearlight Curve you are also able to breathe easily as your head remains comfortably outside the sauna dome.

The Experience

Supervised Introductory Session

If you are a first time customer, we require an introductory session, either in the comfort of your own home or at a Detox & Klenz location. It is an opportunity for us to better understand your requirements and will consist of a supervised, twenty-minute session to ensure you are comfortable with the technology and understand its usage and benefits.

Further Hire

We will deliver and assemble the sauna for you. The sauna dome only requires an approximate floor space (flat hard surface) of 6 foot by 2.5 foot. It takes about 5 -10 minutes for the sauna to heat up to operating temperature. If you have booked a WARP 10 treatment we will apply it within that period. We will return to collect the sauna typically within 45 minutes to an hour depending on your booking. This will give you ample time to relax, enjoy the sauna and to shower in the privacy of your own home.

Stay Comfortable and Keep Hydrated

Swimsuits, trunks, bikinis and sarongs can all be worn in the sauna. Full clothing is not recommended, as you will be sweating. We also recommend you drink at least 250ml of water before and after every sauna. With every session we will supply 500ml of Alkaway Ultrastream Molecular Hydrogen Rich water. This ionized, super hydrating and powerul antoxidant is NSF tested and approved and has many beneficial properties.
